Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager deals with a varied range of inquiries via phone, email, help desk ticket, and face-to-face. This role devises pivotal strategies in order to achieve customer acquisition targets, develops strong relationships with clients, spots business opportunities, up-sells / cross sells where applicable, and presents professional solutions for clients.

As a Business Development Manager you would:

  • Establish and maintain current customer relationships utilizing, Hubspot and other related systems
  • Educate customers on full breadth of solutions offered
  • Gain a clear understanding of customer’s business requirements
  • Identify and resolve customer concerns
  • Target & Identify B2B sales, Enterprise and reseller networks
  • Build and maintain research on prospective and current customers relating to how each customer is organized hierarchically, brands, channels, and key relationships
  • Provide input into product and service development to improve products and services in line with customer needs
  • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts
  • Create business cases and high level financial models to help in positioning and selling technology based solutions to solve business problems

You Have:

  • A strong creative or technical Web hosting knowledge to enable analysis of customer requirements and offer relevant solutions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivation and dedication, you must have a passion for selling and exceeding targets and the ability to work on your own initiative
  • Strong projection coordination and time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Experience executing a consultative Sales approach with clients
  • Strong client facing skills
  • Effective at selling to a IT Director, Developer, technical personnel and/or decision maker
  • Technology Savvy - Quickly develop a core understanding of hardware platforms, cloud computing and emerging web-hosting/web-application technologies
  • Proficiency in business/telephone etiquette and in public presentations
  • The ability to positively interact with all organizational levels as well as the public while appropriately representing the company
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field, or comparable combination of education or relative experience
